Staffer Retro: A Supernatural Mystery Quest is a supernatural detective adventure set in a world shaped by Mana, a mysterious phenomenon that grants supernatural abilities and binds every case in the Staffer series.

The story follows Verita Retro, an ordinary young woman living in Sicily who dreams of nothing more than a normal, peaceful life. That calm is shattered when she becomes entangled with ancient artifacts known as Staffs items imbued with strange powers linked to Mana. Drawn into incidents rooted in the past, Verita is forced to confront long‑hidden truths surrounding supernatural events, forgotten crimes, and the dangerous consequences of rewriting history.

As Verita investigates, players uncover fragmented records, witness accounts, and suppressed memories tied to Mana itself. Each deduction pushes her deeper into a world where logic and supernatural forces collide, and where uncovering the truth does not always lead to the best outcome. Across six episodic cases, player choices determine how the past is reconstructed and how Verita’s story ultimately ends.
